One of my favorite places in the world, full of history and a great place to shoot black powder. If you like to shoot muzzleloaders or BP cartridge, this is the place to do it. Plenty of opportunities for shooters new to the sport, as well as stiff competition for the experts. From primitive flintlocks in period dress to scoped slug guns with sealed ignition, shotgun trap and clays, in lines at 500 yards, silhouttes, pistols and revolvers, offhand and bench, bow&arrows, tomahawk throwing, the list goes on and on. It's all available here. National shoots in June and also September. Camping conveniently right behind the firing line.
