Just a quiet and quaint little hotel
Great little motel. Look past all of the negative reviews this place is great. It's not new nor is it modern and it isn't supposed to be. It feels like stepping into the past and it's awesome. If you're looking for luxury go elsewhere, this is a quiet, quaint motel in rural Indiana, not the Hilton. If I'm ever in the area again I'll be staying here.
Mrs. Something stayed at the Moon-Lite on a recent sudden trip to Indiana. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Staff onsite bent over backward to meet her needs. Since Mrs. S. has lots of relatives out in that area, we will be making the Moon-Lite Motel our base of operations on future trips. Compared to Florida hotel and motel prices that we are used to, the Moon-Lite was shockingly inexpensive.
The rooms are a little small, but the new owners have renovated and made it a very comfortable motel, a treasure in today's box hotels!
